I bought a roll of full width of fabric quarter yard cuts when I was on a trip to the Northwest. The shop was on Whidbey Island, Washington.
Hi Mary, it,s cottonreel, I live in the east midlands of England so would not know where your fabric shop is . 2 of my friends and myself have been to a quilt show at Malvern , Worstershire today, It was great. When I do crazy patchwork I use the flip and sew method.I use a few fancy stitches on the machine to embelish. Sometimes I hand embroider.--Being as you joined me as a follower if you would like to leave your address on my email I will make yu a gift of a pincushion . email@example.com
Hello Mary, just a comment about he country quilts I make . I usually do them in blocks of 9, 12, or 15 sqs layer the block with batting and backing, then quilt it on the machine. when I have enough blocks I put them together quilt as you go. Are you familiar with this method?----cottonreel
